Do I need a prescription?
Yes, for prescription treatments. You'll complete an online visit, and a licensed provider will determine whether a prescription is appropriate. If it isn't right for you, you won't be charged for medication.

Are compounded medications FDA-approved?
No. Compounded medications (such as compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide or enclomiphene) are prepared by licensed pharmacies for individual patients and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Your provider will discuss options, including FDA-approved brand medications where available.

Finasteride
Not for use by women, especially those who are or may become pregnant; women should not handle crushed or broken tablets. Possible side effects include decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorders, breast tenderness or enlargement, depression, and suicidal thoughts or behavior. Tell your provider right away about any changes in mood. Some sexual side effects have been reported to persist after stopping. Finasteride can lower PSA test results.
Minoxidil
Topical minoxidil may cause scalp irritation and unwanted facial hair growth. Oral minoxidil is used off-label for hair loss at low doses. Minoxidil tablets carry a boxed warning: they can cause fluid around the heart (pericardial effusion), which can progress to cardiac tamponade, and can worsen chest pain (angina). Get medical care right away for chest pain, shortness of breath, a fast or irregular heartbeat, rapid weight gain or swelling. Other side effects include dizziness, low blood pressure and excess hair growth. Not appropriate for people with pheochromocytoma or certain heart conditions.
Semaglutide & Tirzepatide (GLP-1 medications)
Boxed warning: risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. In rodent studies, semaglutide and tirzepatide caused thyroid C-cell tumors; it is not known whether they cause these tumors, including medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), in people. Do not use if you or a family member have had MTC or if you have Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). Tell your provider if you get a lump or swelling in your neck, hoarseness, trouble swallowing or shortness of breath. Do not use if you have had a serious allergic reaction to semaglutide, tirzepatide or any of their ingredients. Serious side effects may include inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis), gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (especially with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney problems, severe stomach problems, serious allergic reactions, increased heart rate, vision changes in people with type 2 diabetes, depression or thoughts of suicide, and food or liquid getting into the lungs during anesthesia or deep sedation. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and stomach pain. Tirzepatide may make birth control pills less effective; if you take oral birth control, use a non-oral method or add a barrier method for 4 weeks after starting and for 4 weeks after each dose increase. Do not use if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
Enclomiphene
Enclomiphene citrate is not FDA-approved and is available only as a compounded medication. Possible side effects include headache, hot flashes, mood changes, visual disturbances and increased risk of blood clots. Lab monitoring is required.
Sildenafil & Tadalafil
Do not take if you are allergic to sildenafil or tadalafil, take nitrates for chest pain, use "poppers," or take riociguat, as combining them can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Sex can strain your heart, so ask your provider whether you are healthy enough for sexual activity; stop and get medical help right away if you have chest pain, dizziness or nausea during sex. Tell your provider if you take alpha-blockers or other blood pressure medicines, and do not combine with other ED medicines. Seek emergency care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours or for sudden vision or hearing loss. Common side effects include headache, flushing, upset stomach and nasal congestion, and with tadalafil, back and muscle pain.
